Starter Packs Angus helps keep the landfill waste down by recycling unwanted household goods.
We sometimes visit the local recycling centres in Angus to increase awareness of our project and collect donations.
No CommentsWe cannot use items which are stained, torn, cracked, missing parts, rusty, broken or showing significant wear. In addition, we have no facilities for cleaning donated items, so please make sure that anything you give us is in ready-to-use condition.
We cannot take used electric kettles, jugs, toasters, frypans etc. because we have no facilities yet for testing electrical appliances.
We cannot take furniture of any size, or clothing. If you have furniture to donate, we suggest you contact the Furniture Recycling Project Angus (ph: 01241 437438) to arrange pickup or delivery.
We cannot take food of any sort. If you would like to donate food to a needy cause in Angus then contact the Food Parcel Project, who are located at the Old & Abbey Church in Arbroath.
We reserve the right to dispose of donated items we cannot use in starter packs in the best way possible; this includes selling it, exchanging it for something else (e.g. bric-a-brac for bed linen at a charity shop), donating it to another organisation or throwing it away (as a last resort).
